SMS Messaging Policy

This policy is effective from September 17, 2026. RestfulSync LLC sends automated text messages only to people who have agreed to receive them. There are two kinds of recipient. Account holders who check the SMS consent box when creating an account, or turn on SMS Alerts in the app, may receive safety notifications about their own account and sessions. Emergency Contacts whom an account holder adds receive one invitation text and, only after replying YES, may receive automated SOS alerts if that account holder activates an emergency.

Messages are limited to Emergency Contact invitations, SOS safety alerts, safety session notifications the account holder has enabled, and a confirmation text after a paid plan is activated. Message frequency depends on how often an account holder uses SOS and safety sessions. RestfulSync does not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier charges from your mobile provider apply to every message you receive or send.

Reply STOP to any RestfulSync text message to stop receiving automated messages from RestfulSync. You will receive one final message confirming that you have opted out. An account holder can also turn off automated SMS alerts at any time in the app under Settings, then SMS Alerts. Opting out does not affect the account holder's ability to use their own phone's messaging app during an SOS.

Consent to receive automated text messages is not required to create a RestfulSync account, to use the RestfulSync app, or to make a purchase.

RestfulSync keeps a record of every consent decision, including the date and time, the exact statement you agreed to and its version, the method used, and the version of this policy in effect at that time. If this policy changes in a material way, you will be asked to confirm your consent again before automated messages continue.

Phone numbers collected for SMS are used only to deliver the messages described in this policy and are handled under the RestfulSync Privacy Policy. RestfulSync does not sell or share phone numbers for marketing purposes.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include all major United States carriers.
